Hailing from the Netherlands, Marc Benjamin is a producer and DJ that is constantly moving from strength to strength – with performances at festivals such as Tomorrowland and Ultra and his highly acclaimed release ‘I Want More’ on Future House Music racking up over 20 million streams within 1 year.
The virtuoso producers first break came with his first single ‘Riser’ amounting to a spot in the prized Beatport Top 100 chart, leading to collaborative tunes with Laidback Luke entitled ‘We’re Forever’ and ‘Tell Me That You Love Me’ throwing Benjamin into the spotlight. Cutting his teeth as a DJ during his early days in the Dutch capital, Marc’s reward for the hard work was a residency at the massive central nightclub Escape in Amsterdam – followed by numerous festival appearances and headline shows across the globe.
His productions continued to blow up and soon collaborations with Benny Benassi and Fedde le Grand followed with high praise, counting releases on prestigious labels such as Ultra Music and Spinnin’ Records. But Marc’s skills don’t stop there – his ability to remix and shine a new light on existing records was picked up by Grammy award-winning producer Zedd, who recruited Benjamin’s skills to have his touch on not one but six times – notching up remix credits on massive tracks like ‘The Middle’ & ‘Happy Now’, leading to support slots on Zedd’s multi-city ‘Orbit & True Colors’ album tour.
It was from this point that Benjamin’s rise continued, ranking ever-higher in the prestigious 1001tracklists top 101 producer ranking, landing the number 27 spot in the 2021 chart; rightly deserved for an accomplished DJ who is ever striving to push the boundaries of what electronic music is capable of. With an Afrojack collab added as another string to his bow and with his monthly listeners increasing month on month – Marc Benjamin is truly a force to be reckoned with, creating expertly produced melodic records and tearing up dance floors wherever he steps up to the decks.
